Emergency First Aid at Work

Date: 22nd  Novemer 2021 @ 9am

The minimum requirement by any employer where a First Aider is not necessary is for them to appoint an Emergency First Aider to take charge of any First Aid requirements.

This course gives the learner the necessary knowledge to arrange equipment and call for the Emergency Services when required.  Other responsibilities include looking after any equipment and facilities at the time.

Employers should be made aware that the Emergency first Aider should be made available at all times when people are at their place of work.  In the absence of the First Aider employers must appoint a person for this purpose.  It should be remembered that the Emergency First Aider are no First Aiders and should not attempt to give first aid for which they are not trained.
